Troubleshooting

First you should make sure your browser is using the latest version. Follow the steps for your browser to see the current version and update if necessary.

Chrome	Type chrome://version/ into the URL bar and press Enter.
Safari	From the menu bar, click Safari and then select About Safari.
Firefox	Type about:support into the URL bar and press Enter.
Edge	Click the '...' in the upper-right corner and select Settings. Click About Microsoft Edge to see the current version.
Internet Explorer	Click the gear icon in the upper-right corner and select About Internet Explorer.
Opera	Open a new tab, type about into the URL bar and press Enter.

Enable WebGL

It is possible that you may have accidentally disabled WebGL. Take the following steps for your browser to ensure WebGL is enabled. Afterwards, close and relaunch your browser for changes to take effect.

Chrome	Type chrome://settings into the URL bar and press Enter. Search for hardware acceleration and enable Use hardware acceleration when available. Optional: Type chrome://flags into the URL bar and press Enter. Enable WebGL Draft Extensions (Typically not required).
Safari	From the menu bar, click Safari and then select Preferences. Click Security. Check Allow WebGL.
Firefox	Type about:config into the URL bar and press Enter. Search for webgl.disabled and ensure it is set to false.
Internet Explorer	WebGL will only work with Internet Explorer 11 and later. Ensure you are on version 11 or try switching to Microsoft Edge.
Opera	Type about:config into the URL bar and press Enter. Search for hardware and make sure Use hardware acceleration when available is enabled.

Operating System and Hardware

If possible, you should use the most recent device available. While devices with lower specifications may work, they can also offer a poor user experience.

Windows (PC)	Windows 10 or later, GPU, and at least 8 GB of RAM. 2 GB or above video memory recommended.
Mac	OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite) or later, GPU, and at least 8 GB of RAM. 2 GB or above video memory recommended.
iOS	iOS 9.0 or later. Hardware: iPhone 6 or later, iPad Air series, iPad Mini Retina 2 or later, or iPad 4.
Android	In general, a device with Android 5.0 Lollipop or later with Chrome and WebGL.

Welcome to TruPlace. Thank you for using our products and services (the “Services”). The Services are provided by TruPlace Inc. (“TruPlace,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), located at 325 Ellington Blvd, #551, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, United States.

By accessing or using any TruPlace website, property website, media product, or related service (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the “Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site or Services.

1. Use of Our Services

You may use our Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

You agree not to misuse the Services or interfere with their normal operation.
You agree not to attempt unauthorized access to any TruPlace systems, networks, or data.
You agree to provide accurate information when requested and to keep such information up to date where applicable.

Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access. These Terms do not grant you the right to use any TruPlace branding, logos, or trademarks. You may not remove, obscure, or alter any legal notices displayed in or along with our Services.

2. Intellectual Property

All photographs, maps, images, floor plans, videos, text, graphics, and other materials provided through the Services (collectively, the “Content”) are the property of TruPlace Inc. or its licensors, unless otherwise noted.

The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by TruPlace in writing, you may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, or otherwise use the Content for commercial purposes.
Any unauthorized use of the Content may violate applicable laws and these Terms.

3. Property Information and Measurements

Information deemed reliable but not guaranteed.

The photographs, floor plans, videos, maps, and related information provided via the Services are for representation purposes only.

Floor plans and measurements are estimates, and no responsibility is taken for any error, omission, or misstatement.
Square footage calculations are estimates and are typically measured from the inside of the exterior framed walls, including basement, garage, “open to below” areas (unless shown as dashed lines), stairs, closets, and hallways; such estimates may not include decks or other areas drawn with dashed lines.
You should not rely solely on any measurements or representations provided by TruPlace when making purchasing, leasing, valuation, or other real estate decisions.
You should have a licensed appraisal performed for definitive measurements, and we strongly encourage you to conduct your own due diligence regarding the condition, layout, and features of any property.

TruPlace shall not be held liable for any improper or incorrect use of the information or Services on the Site and assumes no responsibility for anyone’s use of such information or Services.

4. No Warranties; “As Is” and “As Available”

You acknowledge and agree that the Site and Services are provided solely as a convenience to visitors and users, on an “as is” and “as available” basis. The entire risk of using the Site and Services is with you.

To the maximum extent allowable by law, TruPlace expressly disclaims and makes no representations or warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including without limitation any implied or other warranties:

of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, workmanlike effort, quality, accuracy, timeliness, correctness, completeness, reliability, title, quiet enjoyment, no encumbrances, no liens, or system integration;
of conformance to any demonstration, sample, or promise of performance;
arising through course of dealing, course of performance, or usage of trade; or
that the Site or Services (in whole or in part), or any informational content, or any access or use thereof, will be uninterrupted, error-free, useful, functional, or completely secure, or that problems will be corrected.

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for your use of the Site and Services and for any content you provide to TruPlace or to third parties through the Site.

You agree not to upload, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
You agree not to use the Site or Services to send spam or other unsolicited communications.
You agree to comply with all applicable laws, including those related to privacy, intellectual property, and real estate advertising.

6. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site and Services may contain links to third-party websites or may incorporate third-party tools, services, or content (collectively, “Third-Party Services”). TruPlace does not control and is not responsible for Third-Party Services.

Links to Third-Party Services are provided solely as a convenience and do not constitute an endorsement.
We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information on Third-Party Services.
Your use of any Third-Party Services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of those third parties.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall TruPlace, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including, without limitation, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses) arising out of or in connection with:

your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the Site or Services;
any conduct or content of any third party on or related to the Site or Services;
any content obtained from the Site or Services; or
unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.

In no event shall the total liability of TruPlace for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or Services exceed the amount you have paid to TruPlace for the specific Service giving rise to the claim during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to such liability, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100), whichever is greater.

8. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TruPlace, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

your access to or use of the Site or Services;
your violation of these Terms; or
your violation of any rights of another party, including any intellectual property or privacy rights.

9. Changes to the Services

We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We may add or remove functionalities or features, and we may suspend or stop a Service altogether. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Services without notice or liability.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes to the law or changes to our Services. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL and will be effective as of the date indicated at the top of the document.

You should review the Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Site or Services after the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Site and Services.

Your use of the Site and Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or the Site or Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Maryland, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
